I didn’t know you lived in a small town! I thought you lived in the city. — Also, I’m surprised that they’re surprised that you shovel snow. I see women shoveling snow here all the time. Maybe here there’s more gender equity because it snows a lot more.

adorable! I’ve never once included a note with the Bear’s lunch…starting tomorrow, I will. What a cute idea to always remind your kids you love them (and, in your case, vice verse!)

This is one of the things that makes me happiest about my kids too. We regularly have “girls reading party” which basically means the three of us sitting around reading, and it is one of my favorite things to do.

Very cute! M is traveling and missing all the holiday events this year as well, I will have to suggest the notes to him, I bet the kids would love it!

Awww…….I do lunch notes every day, and on the odd day when I forget them, CG is sure to let me know about it. Usually, she wants a note from me that she can put by her bed when I’m out of town.

The Bee is a girl after my own heart. I remember being a young kid, walking to school while reading a book, so immersed in it that I was constantly startled by the world around me.

It’s no accident that your kids have picked up your love of reading. It’s something I can’t wait to see with my own daughter.
